I'm Just Me
I don't think my identity is the main point.
What I do (or fail to do) doesn't automatically validate or invalidate the ideas I share here. Ideas should be tested on their own merits—by their clarity, coherence, and fruit—not by the biography of the person who wrote them.
I've noticed we often do the opposite: we accept or dismiss a thought based on who said it. People avoid quoting someone they disagree with, even when the idea itself is solid. Or they try to burn down a good insight because the messenger turned out to be flawed.
So I try to keep the spotlight off "me" and on the notes.
Not because I'm hiding—just because I'd rather this place be useful than performative. If something I write triggers a better thought in you, that matters more to me than whether you approve of my résumé, my personality, or my past.
Here's a simple example:
I can believe "helping others is good" and still sometimes act selfishly. My inconsistency doesn't magically make the principle false. It just proves I'm human.
Same concept as judging a book by its content instead of its cover… or judging a belief system by its actual teachings rather than the uneven behavior of its followers.
So yes: I'm just me. A flawed person with competing impulses, spiritual aims, and a stubborn hope that growth is possible. This garden is where I set down seedlings—unfinished thoughts, useful questions, and ideas worth turning over.
Take what helps. Leave what doesn't.
Plant your own garden. Tend it fiercely. See what grows.
Happy gardening.
